Ammo Pouches
Magazine Pouches Overview

#1 Single Magazine Pouch The early designs in magazine pouches did not take into account the potential for speed reloading the semi-auto pistol. As a rule of thumb at minimum, the top 1-1/2” of the magazine should be exposed so that the magazine is grasped by the non-gun hand to perform the reloading technique properly. Cartridges in the magazine to be speed loaded should have the bullets forward (in the direction of the belt buckle.) The Single Magazine Pouch conforms to these combat shooting design principles. |

#2 Double Magazine Pouch A common design choice incorporated in many double magazine pouches is to set both facing forward. The theory behind this choice is that two speed loads are possible. The double magazine pouch is designed for magazines set facing forward towards the belt buckle. The Double Magazine Pouch conforms to the combat shooting design principles. Upon request, I will mold the magazines to face in opposite directions NOTE: You do not need to unsnap the inverted center "Y" divider to extract your magazines. |

#3 Rifle Magazine Pouch The rifle magazine pouch is designed to take into account the potential for speed reloading the semi-auto and machine gun rifle. As a rule of thumb at minimum, the top 1-1/2” of the magazine should be exposed so that the magazine is grasped by the non-gun hand to perform the reloading technique properly. Cartridges in the magazine to be speed loaded should have the bullets forward (in the direction of the belt buckle.) The Rifle Magazine Pouch conforms to the combat shooting design principles. I can make these so that the rounds are up or down, depending on your rifle reloading technique. |

#4 IWB Magazine Pouch The #4 inside waist band magazine pouch is designed with the same principles and purposes as the #7 IWB holster. As a rule of thumb at minimum, the top 1-1/2” of the magazine should be exposed so that the magazine is grasped by the non-gun hand to perform the reloading technique properly. Cartridges in the magazine to be speed loaded should have the bullets forward (in the direction of the belt buckle.) This IWB Magazine Pouch conforms to these combat shooting design principles. Retention is achieved by hand molding and boning for an exact magazine fit. |
